sempre foi a minha preferida

Because of the skin's ubiquity, its two square yards suffer the slings and arrows of fortune more than does any other part of the body. It survives our clumsiness, struggles with gravity, and deliberate violence. Abraded, bruised, even cut, it struggles to hold the insides in and the covering together. The very sensitivity that affords us so much pleasure results from a complex network of nerve endings and specialized cells that also provide the body's alarm system. Unquestionably the bad news in life is pain.
